Just wondering...i know like on my 3k theres a power/economy switch next to Cig lighter/power outlet.....how much difference is between the two modes...I was wondering becuase i havent ever seen that in any other car..is it on many other mitsus?

 

is yours a VR4? is that the exhaust switch? the one that routes the exhaust threw a bigger inlet into the muffler or somthin like that. (I am not too familiar with the VR4s or R\Ts)

My camery has that... except its called a power button. MY guess is that its a different tune on the ecu that give you a few more ponys... that or when the button is in its a different tune that increases the gas millage... kinda like an over drive but not associated with the tranny.

 

The SL's have a button that will switch the suspension stiffness. It will stiffen the suspension from economy - smooth to performance - stiff. I test drove an SL a while ago and it had that button. I may be refering to a totally different button, but that's what I remember

 

VR4s have that and the exhuast passage button
