Can anybody tell me the consequences of a speeding ticket I received today. I was going 91mph in a 55mph zone. The cop was really cool and I told him I was going too fast. He said he could've had my car towed for wreckless driving. I'm wondering if this is going to be a mandatory show in court? If it is can anybody tell me their experience in the court??

 

Um... my experiance in court. Send a lawyer and keep your mouth shut. DONT admit to anything and dont write any statements.

Also check when the device that he read your speed on when it was last calibrated. My brothe did that and got off lots of tickets!

 

i got a 95 in a 55 before and the cop told me the same thing. Was an expensive ticket, but I paid it and went on my way.

 

Its all scare tactics man... they love the power and authority.

 

yes couse they have nothing else to do^ at least in my small town...they will pull you over for absoultely no reason...

 

i got caught doin 87 in a 60, it was a 300 dollar ticket and 6 hours of driving school but wasnt to bad[:'(]

 

haha, just last week I had to take a 4 hr driving course!

wow that sucks dude, i was racin an sti, well not really racin cause i had no chance, but we were in a 65 and doin like 105 a few weeks ago and flew right by a cop, luckily he was lookin at the other side of the highway and didnt see us, that wouldve been bad

 

cops im michigan are cool in some spots my friend was doin 64 in a 55 and got stopped he was drunk off his *** and he just turned 18 the cop told him to drive home safe and that was it!
