Default sponsorships.

so i was doing my daily ruitine ...

barnes and noble, order a cappuchino, read a few magazines with no intentions of buying them and i noticed ...
most of the sponsored cars are very ... well, expensive.

theres a few people out there who would rather buy a gs, or an rs and use the rest of the money they saved up to make it look uber nice and show worthy. but then theres those who buy a gsx and do very little to it and end up in magazines or sponsored by big companies.

i have yet to see a regular honda civic on the cover of any tuner magazine or a low modeled vehicle on the cover.

its always an s2000, or an evo on the cover of a few magazines talking about "power" when i see 4 door integras keep up with sti's down the street.

is it politics? money? fame? location? job? knowledge? or just spur of the moment when people decide to sponsor these people?

what are your thoughts about it?

I think theres something very wrong with the car or driver ifa 4 door integra is staying next to an STi.

Id assume that he would be saying this as if both cars were modded. Modded 4dr Integra Vs. Modded WRX STi.. to me it doesnt sound like a fair race... I would put money saying the STi would slap it around.. on the other hand, with enough modification Mitsus. take Lamobs (Ref. FQ-400 vs. Murcielago video) so I suppose anything is possible...

very few integras and civics are well done... at least here, integra means bondo body kit... but still, about the sponsorships, if you can come up with something that either looks good or if you prove youre a good tuner in previous rides you can get the sponsorship to either work on a new one, or super upgrade yours... stuff like that. (dont you just love the way some cars have decals of a lot of companies they dont even have parts of? i love ricers with a NISMO/Mopar stickers on theyre civicĀ“s dx)
