all we did was sand down the surfaces with normal sand paper to make it nice and smooth, then we used your regular everyday spray paint. Used a good quality one of course (goes on alot better). Did a base primer coat, then the spray paint, then a clear gloss coat. Takes a couple of days to do, but its worth it.

The one thing I would do to your car if I were you would be to lose the bra..Those things can rub the paint right off underneath it..Maybe get a body kit with some smoked halo projector headlights..I'm doing my '99 Eclipse GS-T in a black and silver color scheme inside and outside and it will look good..Chrome rims will look tight on yours but they are a pain in the *** to keep clean, I know that personally.

actually it was vynl paint from autozone. and it tokk alot longer than a few days it was more of 2 weeks to do it all.

And stay away from chrome rims please. chrome is the best way to ruin a car IMO and big chrome wheels are so tacky almost all the time.

I am 100% sure I am going with all black with silver lip 17" or 18" I think too much can be tacky. I am having a hard time making up my mind between the sizes. Only about $100 diffrence. What do you think?

That is a good question.. I had 18s on my 2000 GS they looked good 17s IMO looks to small on those cars. I have the same problem desideing with my car im not sure if I want 17s or 18s on the EVO.

Here is what my GS looked like with the 18s and a 1.5inch drop, to maybe give you an idea

Emonz with all that SHYT on your dash how do you manage to see a DAMNED thing JEEZUS... I'm going to try to keep everything for my car fairly clean and hidden... The less they see the less they know I have to WHUP thier *** with ... Personally I painted most of the dash on my Sentra myself (Still a work in progress). Just make sure if you paint it to get a good clearcoat on it to protect everything. As for the rims... The silver lip will be a nice touch to break up the black. I say go for you you can't do too much black. The seats on the other hand... See if you can either find a tan leather seat to replace it or black leather to replace them all. If nothing else you should be able to take them in to an upholstery shop and have them redo the center piece fabric in any color you want.

I couldnt see my MPH under 60 but that wasnt really to important anyway I can tell when im speeding. the SAFC reads RPMs so I didnt need to see my Tach and I mounted it there because I needed to be able to see the safc and have quick access to in if needed and where it was it was hidden just my pillar gauges show but either way so did the front mount so that is a dead givaway at that point.
