what else did the 6G72 Turbo get used in
Does anyone know if any production car other then the 3000GT made use of the 6G72 twin turbo motor be it mitsubishi or another maker?
I am trying to get a YR:2000 3000GT(GTO) into australia, but we have stricter emission control laws affecting importing 1999 onwards vehicles.
I am hoping that another 1999+ model/manufacturor using this motor may already meet the standards, so I can use this motors setup to get the vehicle approved.
Thanks.
Mark
p.s. I appologise in advanced the time difference is a bit of a pain so I may not get to post back tonight(my time)

I thought the 6g72tt was used in the 8th gen Galants also or was that a different variant of the 6g72tt?
Scratch that, the Galant 8G used a DOHC 6A13TT and looks like this..

I didn't see this mentioned but the Dodge Stealth R/T TT also used the same 6g72TT. The Stealth is the same vehicle except for the front/rear fascias and other minor difference, otherwise they are the same vehicle but under the Dodge badge.
well there are plenty of other cars that use the 6g72 but i dont know that there were any that had TT. Like the Magna and veranda in australia both have the 6g72 in it
Yeah, it's a 6A13TT. I edited that shortly after
I was under the impression that the OP was looking for the DOHC 6g72tt equiped cars and not the SOHC 6g72s?

thanks for the quick responses
I will check the specs for the Magna and veranda it made be that the non TT version of the motors may have different specs that may improve the issue.

Mark
