where to begin upgrading

Default where to begin upgrading

im trying to decide whether or not to begin upgrading my car from the engine or to work on suspension and handling first

i have a mitsubishi eclipse 99 gs-t...it's red if that helps

good starting upgrades for that would be an injen intake, 3" catback exhaust, manual boost controller & boost guage.

thanx...with the intake i looked under the hood and im going to need to modify the mounting brackets if i take out the box and the filter did you need to do that?

you just remove the whole box and filter and you get a new hard pipe and new cone filter

ok thats what i thougt too but different people keep telling me that im going to have to adjust the volume air flow sensor connected to the box, unless they make the intake specific to the car then they would have somewhere to reconnect

oh i see...your set looks different than some of the ones i've seen online, off topic: my gs-t came with a turbo (i know duh) but it's kinda small so i was thinkin of upgrading to a t3 or higher after getting my car ready for it, but the entire kit with the turbo already comes with the airflow system so should i just hold out for that?
