Default wont go over 3000rpm??? help

i just bought a 1991 talon awd tsi and it wont rev or even in normal driving go over 3000rpm any ideas?????

manual i dont have my maf but the car ran fine till all of a sudden

also my stock boost gauge says -7

the stock boost gauge is pretty much useless. To me though it sounds like you either have a major boost leak or a major ignition problem. I would start by checking the IC pipes for leaks and then the vaccuum lines. Then maybe look into the plugs and wires.

Put the maf back in the car and drive it again.

cool. Thats what i was figuring with the major loss you were getting. Did it end up being a coupling or was it one of those rubber pipes?

looks like radiator house to the I/C pipe with like ****ty flange holding it on i was all wtf the guy who had the car before me didnt know what he was doing im guessing lol but now my car wont start i have all the fule the motor needs and spark my timing is dead on and when i turn over the car and it trys to start it has a clatter noise could that be my cam is loss and my crank angle sensor isnt hitting it cuz i took out the sensor and on the side tips of it look a little worn ??? any ideas????
