96 GS Exhaust??
It all depends how you do it as to what it will do for you. Definately look odd... I don't know that splitting a single into a dual like that is a good idea... But then again it can't really hurt... Though in an A/N engine that will relieve almost all the backpressure that could build up giving you terrible gas mileage. If it were a turbo it would likely shorten the spooling times...
IDC bout gas lol. Im more intrested to see if itll add HP, and yea I plan on gettin headers rite after the exhaust. I have ground effects, ima have them cut a hole in the ground effect and have the pipes be flush with that.
I was thinking 2.5 inch downpipe

doing a dual setup like that wont give you more hp or less back pressure then a true 2.5 singel exaust. Matter factly you will have more sound comming out one side opposed to the other because your car dosen't produce enough exaust gas to compleatly fill bout routs. My friend did it to his gst and it sounds crappy because if you stand on one side of the car its louder than if you stand on the other, also it dosent look as good as he was hoping it would.
If your looking for the most performance get a 2.5 downpipe back with a round can muffler that you can see right through.

I have the stock exhaust, I was thinking of running downpipe to twin sidepipes.
What will this do for me?

the downpipe is a good idea but don't do twin sidepipes that's just extra work that looks retarted...........just get a nice cat-back like Apex'i or Greddy
