99 Eclipse headers?
So I'm slowly improving my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (manual, FWD, Stock Turbo)
and I'm looking to buy a new turbo exhaust manifold (headers) but I'm new to working on cars and have NO idea what to get. I'm looking for something that will be an improvement over the stock manifold. Something that increases horsepower and lets my car breathe a bit. Preferably under $1500 but quality and showy. (preferably chrome)

You're wasting your money, and a header belongs on a naturally aspirated vehicle. No inline four cylinder has more than one 'header' either.
There are cars running 10s on the stock exhaust manifold. What have you done to require a replacement?

believe it or not, car companies employ these people called "automotive design engineers". Quite possibly one person, or a team, whos only job is to match and tune exhaust systems to engines.
If you want more breate, spend your money on a port n polish. You wont see sh*t, but itll go better.
Just want bling?

Please, if you do manage it, post pics.
Was one recomended by the p&p guys?
Before worrying about getting air out of your engine. You have to put more in. Plus, its pretty bling:
Snobbys not quite the word.
Cynical old bastard is more like it!

Aaaand I said I was new to working on cars and only know what I've been told and from what research I have done. And everyone I talk to says that they do increase horsepower. I would just like to remind you that you were probably a novice once as well and I can only hope you were treated with some respect when you asked about things you weren't sure about. I've been looking into it and headers are pricing around 200 bucks and that's nowhere NEAR the price of my car (but I will agree that my car wasn't very expensive either). And finally I don't see anything wrong with having a car with decent performance as well as good looks.
