Access to Rear Bank Spark Plugs on 2008 Outlander

I've always been able to change my own spark plugs. In 2008 I purchased my Outlander. In the near future the plugs will have to be changed. Three plugs are easily accessible by removing the engine cover. It's the 3 rear plugs that presents a challenge. Looking at the service repair manual it appears the only way to gain access to the rear plugs is by removing the entire intake manifold plenum. Upon closer examination of the engine, I noticed that there are several bolts that hold the plastic part of the plenum to the metal part of the manifold. My question to anyone out there who has already changed their spark plugs: Can the rear plugs be accessed by removing these bolts instead of removing the entire manifold assembly?:)

Does anyone out there know of any detailed procedure showing how to gain access to those rear plugs?

Have you been able to proceed to your plug replacement? I'm currently wondering if I'm trying this work myself or if I get it to the garage.

You must remove the plenum.

Remove Plenum from 2008 Outlander

Does anyone out there know of a step by step procedure to remove the plenum off of a 2008 Outlander to gain access to the 3 rear spark plugs?

It's really not that difficult. Just observe what it's attached to, and remove.
