it helps the turbo to breathe, but again for every engine parts(aftermarket)...dont forget to re-set the p.c.u. some turbo will have a sudden p.s.i. drop w/ aftermarket air intake system. these confuses the p.c.u. but overall, its all good when p.c.u. is re-set.

It really doesnt help much with mnor modds. the stock intake is restickive but really you wont gain anything noticable by an intake on a turbo car other than the sound of SPOOOLL
true...true..in my opinion, if you buyin intake for turbo...make sure its the whole system.( i.e. intercooler pipes / intake pipes and b.o.v.)filter alone aint goin to give you that boost. all you gonna hear is that loud air intake tract / spool. so, do the chemistry. free up the power by lettin the turbo breathe easier, but also find a way to spit excess air/gas out.

i instaled the intake shown in the pic i had my car dynoed befor and after i gained 8.5 hp with the intake
