2004 Montero Sport LS 3.5L 2 wheel drive 185k miles great shape.
Looking for suppliers of OEM Bank 2 Catalytic converter specifically... OR.... a complete stock exhaust system replacement. The car is throwing a OBD PO431 and all 4 of the o2 sensors have less than 7k miles on them. An OBD Diagnostic showed the o2 sensors to be operating properly. So PO 431 is PCM (power control module) indicates the engine warm up catalytic converter is underperforming. Local muffler shop won't quote it and Midas Coporate office never got back to me with an answer.
Id rather just try and get a reasonably priced Bank 2 sensor but it seems many are out of stock or the price has doubled so any advice on a source for a used or new one is greatly appreciated.
I may look to just replace the whole system and do it all at once so that I will last me at least 5 more years but the goal is to just do the Bank 2 converter.
Fuel sending unit replaced and also the fuel pressure regulator. I'll probably replace the fuel lines in the next 2years to head off that issue.
