I just put new headers on my 2001 Eclipse V6.

I was wondering, when I buy a cat back, is there a spot to squeeze in a catalytic? I haven't seen any packages including a cat, so I'm assuming this is a no.

 

Have you got any? Even I was searching for something similar..

 

a cat back exhaust does not remove the stock catalytic converter. So your headers should not have either. So you will have the headers, then the stock cat, then the catback exhaust

 

I did a lot more looking into it and found out that the headers/downpipe combo that I bought removed the cat. So if I want the converter again, I'll have to redo my headers. Which, I'm not going to do that until I have my car upgraded more (but definitely before the cosmetic stuff).
