Default Creatng Intake for 3rd Gen

Hey guys, now that i am settled in doing the intake, how do i make the adapter so the cone filter will hold onto the stock intake pipe with the mas? I know that their is a kit so you can do it, but their is anyway i can buy a couple pieces from autozone or somewhere to create it?

+1 on the ebay buy. You can get a hole intake system for like 30 bucks. It may not be name brand but it will work just as good.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT DO THIS. The work for now. Only get the name brand stuff. You will be sorry if you dont. Emonz had a cheap intake on his 3g and first the fork snapped off the intake, then the intake itself cracked the manifold twice. Thats a very bad idea

how about what tidus10 said about just putting a cone filter at the end of the stock MAS. Will that be sufficent for the amount of air being taken in?

Thats fine to do, theres nothing wrong with that. You wont get as much gain than with a cold air intake, but either way you do it you really dont get a whole lot anyway
