will 2nd gen springs fit a 3rd gen eclipse gs

i saw on CL that this guy was selling tien H tech springs for a 95-99 2nd gen....so will they fit on a 03 eclipse

i highly doubt it. I cant say for sure since ive never attempted it. But the part #'s are different for a reason
