Default CUSTOM COLD AIR INTAKE

So i want to make a custom cold air intake, and im am on a low budget. From what i've seen people post i can slap an aftermarket filter on my stock pipe. True? This is for an Ealge Talon Esi (95-99). And if that doesnt work what all would i need, a pipe, silicon connectors and a few hoses, and a filter? help me out here. And remember VERY LOW BUDGET.

just replace the stock airbox with a cone filter. It will work fine. All you need is a clamp for the filter

you could sell your wing and alteza tail lights and use the money for an intake. that would be a + on the performance and a + on the looks of the car.

Converter restricts air flow their for it is a bad thing.A high flow cat compaired to test pipe the test pipe will gain you a extra 1-2 over a high flow cat. A test pipe also lets your motor run cooler and rev faster from less restriction.

Run no air box and put a cone filter at the end with a clamp. Air box only restricts air flow.
