Replacing both cats on my '02 Lancer ES and trying to figure out if necessary gaskets come with the cats when you buy them or do I need to order them separately. Would like to avoid spending too much if they're included or having to pay shipping twice and waiting around if they don't.
I've emailed the parts site I'm buying from, but no responses yet.

i am pretty sure they wont come with the gaskets. But before you start i would inspect the bolts on the exhaust to make sure they arent totally rusted because chances are if you need to replace the cats then the bolts are gonna be in rough shape

It really depends on where you order from, I got a hi flo cat that came with the gaskets and even the bolts to replace. Unfortunately the test pipe had a considerable noise difference from an actual cat converter.
If it doesnt come with the gaskets just go to your local autoparts store and grab some. Better than waiting on the shipping.

I will crawl under there this week and make sure I can get the bolts started out and acquire replacements if needed. I'll bet you're right, they are probably a rusty mess.
Rockauto also confirms that the cats I'm planning to buy do not come with gaskets. They also gave me the part numbers of the ones I will need. Those guys are pretty good.
Thanks for the response guys!
