i have a 97 eclipse gs-t. i dont have any plans of changing my stock turbo. whats a good upgrade on the exhaust system?

a. 3in all the way from downpipe to the muffler, removing the resonator and catalytic?

2. 2 1/2 in will do?

 

well if you dont want problems from getting check engine lights or with emmissions then getting a catback exhaust is the best way to go. And with a turbo car 3" is a good size piping to get. If you get the piping custom done then make sure its all mandrel bent.
