Default Installing Magnaflow Exhaust - Need Assistance

I recently ordered a Magnaflow exhaust (part number #16660) for my 2006 Evo IX and I'm hoping somebody can answer my question. I'm installing the exhaust right now and it is an open pipe (no cat) with an insert for your o2 sensor. Is my check engine light going to come on all the time if I install this exhaust?

Is there anything else that will be effected when I put this O2 sim on my car? I believe this O2 sensor is only for verifying the cat is working correctly so nothing else should be effected...I hope?

I've been browsing the web and many guys have taken two spark plug non-foulers and threaded them into the bung and then put the O2 sensor and successfully kept the Check Engine Light off. Have you hear anything about this?

I installed the Magnaflow exhaust and it sounds great!! I love the deep tone and so far no CEL light. I went with the Spark Plug Non fouler method. I would recommend a Magnaflow to anybody and make sure you purchase it on ebay. I bought a brand new catback system for $400.00.

Yes, it's a cat-back exhaust system and I bought a test pipe separately. There isn't a downpipe with the system but I'm not sure I'm going to change out the downpipe. My next step is to get a ECU FLASH from Vishnu. I asked them if I need to make any other mods before the FLASH.
