Default intake question

whats going on guys i was wondering what kind of intake my 03 lancer oz would be better of with a cai or a short ram quick reply appreciated lookin to order one right now thanks

C.A.I. is the best intake you'll have,cold air = power. the only thing about c.a.i., ya'll start getting paranoia w/ water puddles / snow and even rain....lol

I agree the C.A.I.'s are better for performance but I looked on Ebay for one for my OZ (no not the cheap piping kits w/ bunk filters) and there were a few kits that were a MAF adapter with a genuine K&N cone filter for $35 (before shipping). Its just the plate that mounts to your MAF and the filter attaches to that. Its a short ram which would be good for the winter with all the wet roads. You could probably get the Ebay CAI in the spring and just use the CAI pipe with the MAF plate and the K&N filter. Its cheap and you know its a quality filter!
