Cold Air Intake or Short Ram Intake?

Default Cold Air Intake or Short Ram Intake?
This is going to be the first modification to my baby. I drive an '04 Lancer Ralliart and I've been researching both cold air intake systems and short ram intake systems. Does anyone have any advice on which is better? And any thoughts on AEM vs. Fujita? Thanks.
