An FMIC helps cool the hot air created by a turbo. The air intake is the very beginning of this equation. I worked my way back from the FMIC to the intake in case I lost ya
BTW, if you're thinking about putting an FMIC in an N/A car....don't. It serves no purpose since the air is only as hot as the ambient temps, unless you're using an short RAM air intake that is, then it's sucking up hot engine bay air, lol.
