Default prevent water away from intake

i heard that you're not suppose to get "short ram"intake and cold airintake wet or might get damage...is it okay to wash out the soap off the hood w/ a hose when i car wash? it's same as getting the hood wet from the rain, so it's okay, right?

Yes it is.... it will only harm the car if the intake is fully submerged with the engine on

You can wash your motor with the filter installed, just don't put degreaser on the filter and don't spray directly on the filter or you'll just have to dry it and reapply oil afterwards. Never use a high pressure hose on it either...just in case someone looking in didn't know
You won't be washing the motor with the engine running...right? lol
