hey guys, does a throttle body spacer kit help the car a lot? My friend said it would increase HP by up to 20HP for the eclipse 2000 RS

 

Cars differ in their engineering...those spacers aren't a guarantee and it especially won't increase HP up to 20hp. All it's doing is keeping the plenum off the hot head and therefor, keeping the head heat isolated from the plenum and theoretically keeping the plenum or intake cooler. A CAI can do that.
Not worth the work IMO.
