Hi all,

Hope someone can help, my son's ( previously ours )1.8 GDI, had the magnet issue. After 4 hours of removing and stripping, we got to see the loose magnet issue. Having pulled the body apart and pulled the spindle out the magnet detached itself from the shaft. Easy I thought, lets reglue and refit. I then put both magnets on the bench, and they attrected each other, the loose one then smashed into 10 pieces. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement.
I am hoping a kind sole may have a spare magnet/spindle/body they can let me have. Happy to pay .... just to help my sanity.
