Washer dropped into intake manifold
While changing the spark plugs on a 91' Mitsubishi GTO TT, it has a stock 6G72. The washer was only a 1/4 inch but ended up causing a lot of hassle. After being unable to get it out with a magnet we cracked the heads, waited over night for the coolant to sink to the bottom of the oil and drained it all, it was kinda cool all green, then half and half and then straight BLACK.
the thing is after my buddy dropped the washer in, he wasn't sure so he started the engine
ran for ~5sec's and caused quite a bit of damage for what it is. Were putting it back together because the damage isn't catastrophic it can wait until we swap it next winter. Here's a link to the photos. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...5&l=9de42eb0ee
What do y'all Think? got any story's of your own?
