Right now about 70% of my exhaust is on the car. 4 pieces on right now "header" the pipe that connects to it, then test pipe, then the other pipe that connects to the test pipe. Only thing left to be mounted is the muffler and the L pipe. I started it today and it sounds like a race car. It dont sound like any 420A it sounds really really deep makes a 4g64 sound week.

If I mount the rest of the exhaust and remove the packing in teh exhaust will it sound close to the same?

No. Now my car sounds deep which is what you want. That winy sound is a ricy sound.

I would have to say that with any japanese car, there is going to be someone out there that thinks it is rice. The big question is if you like it. As for it staying that sound, if you clear out the packing, it should stay close to it. What changes your sound is your muffler. If you straight piped the exhaust all the way back w/no muffler, it would be kinda redneck to me, but if you like the sound then more power to ya. Just remember you will eventually have to drive this thing through a neighborhood somewhere, and if the cops don't like it, you will be tagged and harrassed for any little thing that you do. I've been there. I only wish that I had a muffler to hide my car screaming through the neighborhood at night.

Most exhaust systoms come with a fart can and their streight threw design which is best for power
