hey all imnew to the forums. this isnt about my car but my girlfrined bougth a red 2003 eclipse a few months ago. really nice car. we are putting a stereo system in and we hit a few walls in the proicess. one of my questions is how can i wire the center speaker that is above the time and track #. we also bought a Metro wiring harness and dash install kit. do i need both of these? if i have anymore questions ill post them up as i find them out. but if you can answer that question for now it would be great. thanks a lot board!

also where are the 6 speakers located. i only count 5 unless the tweeters are counted int he 6

 

metro as in GEO METRO wiring kit and harness? im not sure about that may not work but miricles happen....and for the 6th speaker...you would pretty much copy what they did for wiring the other speakers...+ in + and - in -....here somthin from www.the12volt.com

JP: Metro makes wiring harnesses.
Mallet: If I were you, Id just leave the center channel out of the loop. Especially if youre leaving the stock speakers in tact. All that will happen is it will blow.

for sure leave the center speaker alone i am surprised it is not already blown a huge pos

 

im goin by this diagram posted in this thread and i just got through installing my radio, subs, and amp but after driving around for a bit the driver's side tail light is out and the drivers front turn signal is out also. so my question is what could be wired wrong?

 

nevermind i had ended up leaving a fuse out everything works now
