ok so i just bought a 600w amp and me and my friend were talkin bout how to wire it up and we kno how we just dk where to run the wires through under the dash to get them to the battery, ne suggestions on where to run them through??

 

find where wires go thru the firewall and go thru there then go along the door under the carpet then back to ur amp

 

the + bat cable has to go through your fire wall (driver side steering coloum or somthing)ur gonna have to drill a hole and put in a rubber insert...but paint over the drilled hole so it dont rust

 

problem with that as my friend found out it shorted out some of the wires...i guess it depends on the wires and car

 

yea u got to have nice thick coating on the wires aka good quality wires

 

yea, alright well thanks, that helps, yea we knew we needed to do somethin like that with drillin a hole but we just werent quite sure bout where and all, we kno where to run the rest of the lines tho, thats the easy part but yea i guess well try and figure that out this wkend then and c wut happens

 

rubber for sure, or else the metal will scrap the cables off.... paint it for the oxide, and there on the firewall theres a circle, you can drill on that circle safely

 

alright, thanks for more info, yea i went and looked earlier today just to kinda look around under there and yea i actually do remember seeing that circle down there, but ya, got it, drill it, paint it, rubber insert, good to go [8D]doenst seem too terribly difficult

 

make sure u check both sides.........you dont want to hit anything important
