Default diagnostic link

[sm=feedback.gif]can anyone help me with a diagnostic link problem. Ibrought a 98 eclipse gs that had a bad engine and ecm, the car had been sitting up for at least three years. replaced the engine, fuel pump, alternator, ecm, starter, and fuel filter. car has many other issue that need to be address but i can't ge any power to the diagnostic link. tried from two different places to check ( autozone and local shop ) and could not get any codes local shops said no communication and autozones never came on when connected. does anyone have any insight on this problem.

I have checked all the fuses in the car they all are good. this car has been sitting up for three plus years, i am not sure if the fuse box cover is the right one but all the fuses are good in the car and the car does not have the power it should have during accelaeration norduring driving and without the link working i can not check for codes.

Well you have to find out whay its not powering up a scan tool, if the fuse is good you probably have a broken wire from the fuse to the dlc.

It should be the fuse box inside the car.
