Default electrical stuff...

I just bought an 05 eclipse gs. I would like to hook up my subs/amp but I was told that I may not be able to do it with my stock stereo... is this true? I was informed to check out the stereo for RF something....any thoughts....

Also, my car is a bright blue and the dash lights are all orange... im trying to figure out if I can just change all the bulbs in the dash to blue one or if theres something different that I can do... I want them to glow blue to match the exterior....

If you try to just change the bulbs out, youll get a nasty greenish color... you have to get the kit. Google search for it. It exists.
You COULD hook up a sub and amp to your stock h/u... but it wont sound or perform as well as it could w/ getting a replacement one. I would suggest getting an aftermarket head unit... if you still want to use the stock one, I or one of the others can tell you how to get it done using a crossover/ line level converter. But once again, Id strongly recommend getting a new h/u.

Maybe I am not searching for the right thing... But I am not finding any kits for anything older than a 99. Does anyone have a specific site or brand that they like or recommend?

I am new to the whole car thing so im just tryin to learn as I go...thanks.
