I have upgraded the seats on a 2017 ASX/Outlander sport to heated leather ones. I was considering wiring up the heated seats.

The heated seat plugs have 4 wires, 2 are black (ground) 1 is red (12v feed) but there is a 4th wire which is pink. What the heck is this for. I was wondering if it is just the wire to illuminate the switch or maybe the red is for the high heat and the pink is for the low heat.
Any advice welcome or any other comments on the retrofitting of Mitsubishi seats.
