Default ignition switch diagram

Ive been looking everywhere and cant find one. Even just a crude pic someone made in paint would be helpful. Im still tryin to figure out how to hook up my switch-ignition system. A switch to go into accessory, a switch for on, and a button for ignition. I just need the diagram. I can see from the cylinder in front of me that theres 6 points for wiring:

IG2 - AM
ST - IG1
ACC - R

I get that ACC is accessory, but why are there 2 ignitions? is one a ground? and wtf are AM and R?

Default need ignition switch giagram HELP ASAP!!!

Okay so when I went to switch out the lock cylinder (where the key goes) you have to remove the ignition switch, and in doing so it got dropped and now a couple springs wont line up inside. I put it together to try and see if it worked and all it did was grind, no response from the car at all. I need the diagram now, not just want it. The key wont work I have to find out what of the 6 wires control accessory, on and ignition. Ive tried looknig everywhere but In mot seeing anything

TE you always have info for me please help asap I cant turn my car over at all not even put it on accessory

Default switch ignition, diy soon.

Okay so I finally found some info in the haynes manual of all places, it didnt give me a diagram that told me what wire was what, but it did have a continuity chart. With that I found out what was controlled with each wire by supplying power to each one. using that I was able to convert the multiswitch of a factory key ignition to individual switches. Now I no longer need a key, I can flip a switch and push a button and the car will turn over. I will have a proper writeup and possibly pictures soon.

So yea, I no longer need that diagram/info I asked repeatedly for.

Default Starting diagram

Hello 3000gt16

It happens to me, the same to you.

My Ignition Switch is broken, the Mitsubishi Dealer delay 90 days to bring me the part.

I want to guess how can I connect to 3 or 4 manual switch and a start button but I not know how. I search a Lot in the Web, but I don't know how to join the wires.

I look the manual and I have 4 states.

1 2 4 5 6
Lock
Acc X X
On X X X X
Start X X X

But I dont know how to match Wire colors with terminal numbers.

My Connector appear like this

ST IG2
X X

X X
R X AM
IG1

Can yo Help Me?

Sorry for my english.
Best regards
Gustavo
