Does anyone have any details about the Mitsubishi Spacestar wiring.

In particular, I am trying to found out if the lighter socket goes directly to the fuse box and then to the ignition circuits. I need to find how to bypass the ignition turn-off of the lighter socket so that I can add a solar panel that fits into a lighter socket to re-charge the battery when the car is left in a car-park / driveway etc.

The socket is currently isolated from the battery when the ignition is turned off.

I was looking to add a diode to the fuse-box so that the lighter will still work as normal when supplying power but can have a power source in it to re-charge without the ignition being on.
