which wire is the one to the dome light? i have a 2002 lancer and the wire is missing on the roof.

 

It should not bemissing it must be tuck inside the cloth or upholstery. take the cover off with a small flat screw driver.
pop it out and you will see bulb the wiring should be inside the panel. if you want to unscrew the housing that holds the Bulb it should be there.

probably the previous owner had a short and never bothered to fix the bulb and wiring.
