i have a electrical problm or something i guess....... as i drive th SRS light starts diming low to brighter but as the brighter it gets the car seem to be f****n up.... the temp needle goes up and down and when im driving in the night the lights dim nasty as if i was playing with the lights.... turning on and off........ can some one help me out.... it has other isuess but i donts know how to explain thanks.......

Alternator is going out I think.

 

Get your alternator checked out.

 

i checked out my alternator at autozone and its good does any 1 know wat else can be going wrong

 

Check your battery cables and grounds. Also check the connections at the alternator.

 

It would seem that you have some sort of power drain. Are you telling us everything? Do you have a stereo system where you have subs and a high power amp? If you do, there you go, you're draining the battery faster than the alternator can recharge it. If that's not the case, then tell us more.
Does it do it on a rainy night with your lights, a/c, wipers, and stereo only? Do you see where I'm going with this?

Help us, help you, bro, otherwise all you'll get are guesses from us.

 

Maybe the battery isn't accepting a charge

 

nothing at all i just got a new alternator and i dont know before i changed it it was supposably overcharging but now that i changed it its still doing the same thing (the alternator). i have a current tester and its giving me 18 close to 19 amps and i know this is to high for a car...... please help me out thanks.................

 

Do you have stock electronics in your car? What did you do that may have led to this?...honestly.

 

Check your ground, that a common side effect of your cars electrical system not being grounded properly. The car in some cases may shut off aswell. I doubt it's the battery, but their could be a slim chance. let us know
