hey peoples. i used to drive a 97 cavalier til that peice broke. (thank god) now i drive an 05 gts. i had my cavalier hooked up though, clarion head unit running 1000 watts to the front and 800 to my kicker L7. well. i want to keep the infinity system in my car now seeing as how its already loud enough i just wanna throw my sub in there. my question is. how the hell do i run a wire from the battery. in my cavy i had an easy accesable boot i just cut through and ran it but this one it looks like im gonna have to drill through the fire wall.....is there a way around it or is the firewall the best ticket?

I'd say just put a hole in the firewall. I did, it's not a pain in the *** like you'd think, unluss you're limited on wire like I was and could only put the hole at a funny angle.[sm=signs003.gif]

easy... well.... actually nm.. mind is a second gen.. but a good way of telling is go on the inside... find a nice spot... hammer lightly with a scredriver... on the other side on the engine bay... youre gonna see a lil bump... you wanna hit that with the drill

Wish I had thought of that, I just gound a place in the engine bay that looked clear, went under the dash and guessed the same spot and hoped for the best! [sm=icon_beat.gif]

you can go through the clutch plate, or there's a hughe blank spot on the firewall on the passenger side to go through. Either one works.
