Default turbo timer

Hey Guys,

I reciently sent my car to a panelbeaters due to a dumb chick raming my poor car up the butt (1996 gsr).
I received a phone call just before about 3 hours before they returned it saying my battery was F*$%ed, they rambeled on about how it wouldnt hold charge after 3-4 attempts and I needed a new one, as soon as i said it wasnt like that before it went to them and i never had any problems they told me they would look into it.

I herd nothing untill it returned my car and they said it looked to be ok now and it didnt need to be replaced.
I got in my car imediatly and took it for a drive (well it wasnt really a drive more like a YAY I HAVE MY BABY BACK!! giving my turbo a good going..it had been over a week and they gave me a 1300cc to drive WTF) when i pulled up to work and i turned it off (as you do LOL) and FFS my turbo timer was not working!!! I couldnt believe it, it was just my luck taking my car for a thrash and then the turbo timer not working, poor thing!! i took it to an electrician and he said it has power going to it so nothing obvious!! I asked the p/beaters if they used any thing to stop arching or if they disconnected the battery while they were welding and they said they had these special things that they put on the car, having said that tho they said that it is just bad timing and nothing that they did as they only touched the rear of the car and are not taking any accountability and is also missing jst over 1/4 tank of gas...

I dont know much about the process when this sort of work is carried out, or if it is even their fault.... could you guys please help. Im but a girl who works in a automotive workshop where the guys dont want to help me out but rather put the wrong grade of oil in my car to make my lifters noisey and put hydrulic brake fluid up my exhaust

wow you need to get aa new job, sorry. as for the welderon the car yes it can short out electrical circuits check if the fuse to the turbo timer is bad, and is your car still charging the battery? this could indicate an alternator issue witch would tell me that the f##ked up
