Hi, Im New Too This Forum Stuff, Im Juss Curious To Kno If It Will Be Possible To Swap The 6G72TT Engine nd The 6 Speed Transmission From a 1992 3000gt VR4 into A 1992 Galant VR4.

Im Asking This Because I Found A 1992 Galant VR4 for sale for $1000 but It Needs A New Engine and Transmission and I Thought If I Needa Put A New Engine nd Tranny In I Mite As Well Try To Put Something With More Power In.

What Do You Guys Think If It Costs More Than $6000 To Do I Will Just Replace The Engine nd Tranny With An Original 4G63T one Imported From Japan

 

No it wont fit, look for a usdsm 4g63t from an eclipse, laser or talon.

Nope only the 5 speed. All you need to do is build the 4g63 and build a trans and you'll be good to go. No one expects a old *** 4dr sedan to be fast, thats why the galant vr4 is a perfect sleeper.

Do you have any pics? 1k for a gvr4 is cheap.

4G15 Will fit.... just kidding that engine is for the 97-2002 Mirage.

4G63 must be a good and big engine.

 

stick with the 4g63t. You can get it out of just about any dsm 1g/2g eclipse/talon. They are great engines and more than capable of anything you can throw at it.
