just bought a 1990 Eclipse GSX, what are the best engin mods that i can get/do and not pay an arm and a leg and also not have to buy a whole bunch of supporting mods. Also, will any other parts from a different year fit the car, because one thing i did notice is that the aftermarket dosent relly like this car in 1990, from what i've seen anyways.

for the most part you can get stuff from 1990-1994. But they must be for the GSX on some things such as exhaust. The best things to start out with is a good carback 3" exhaust. And then an intake. Also getting a manual Boost controller and a boost guage is a good way to add alittle hp
