Default Turbo and stroker kit

Hi all,

I am thinking about getting a stroker kit for my 95 eclipse 420A. Would I be able to use stage 2 cams with the kit? and would I be able to add a turbo to it in the future. I am not sure if a stroker kit and turbo go together. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The storker does not go with the stroker kit. And yes if you got it you would able to run a significant ammount of boost on that car. And you would definetly be able to run those cams, heck you can run those cams on the stock block anyway. However, i hope you realize the ammount of money this is gonna take to do all the work in putting in a stoker motor and a turbo kit with all the necessary supporting mods. If i was to measure a gues id say somewhere in the $5-6k+ range.

we ALL, ALWAYS say that lol. Figness, don't take offense to this post. we are all here to back you up on whatever you wanna do and give you good advise and the best advise to give in this situation is to tell you to get a different car. to turbo a 420a is a big deal. at least 3-4k, and w/ a nice built engine that you are talking about w/ a stroker it... 5-6k EASILY and that's cheaping out on some parts. also once you do get it up and running you can only run 20lbs until you have to rebuild the head... there's anoker 1k right there.... it's really not worth it. you can pick up a gs-t for about 4-5k these days.

You guys always tell everybody to sell their 420A..... tisk tisk tisk...... I know that its true wat you say and your right it is cheaper and easier to get a GS-T or GS-X. I would do the same instead of tryn to build up my 420A. But not everybody is willing to part with their 420A. I know I would never sell my Gisele..... shes to special for me to sell her. Wat you could say is you have the option of selling the420A and buying a GS-T or GS-X or you could save up and buy a GS-T or GS-X and that way people dont feel bad or feel pressured.

the 420a is a crap motor, 4g63 is a muchbetter motor (doesnt blow head gaskets like a ****)...but if you dont wanna sell your car cuz its special, it may or may not be worth it to do a engine swap if your looking for power
