ive found myself with my first 3000gt and it has a locked transmission. where can i find a relatively cheap 5 spd replacement? its fwd, non turbo. i know i could spend up to 2k, but im looking for one around the 500-1k mark. really dont have that much to spend. any help is appreciated.

Try giving these guys a call. They most sell engines around the 50k mileage range. I've aready bought 2 motors from them and will buy more if need be. One for an eclipse of mine and for my 92 3000GT. It was only like $1,000 for an engine and 5spd trans.

thanks alot. anyone know if a 420a tranny will work? not sure what it is but i have a guy trying to sell me one saying it will fit but i cant find info on it anywhere. thanks
