Default 3000GT Makeover

Alright... well, this is whats up. I just got my 3000GT SL over spring break. It had a POS 150k mile clutch on it w/ a broken master and slave cylinder. I replaced the whole clutch system and got new bearings and whatnot for $1800. Also, my interior was sent to hell and back when I got the car. I had some "econotint" purple tint on the windows, smelled like someone puked in it, and had torn seats... the works. My dad decided to get me some stuff as like a "gift" or something. I got seat covers, steering wheel covers, and a nice spary for my car to smell nice. I then took the liberty of spending $70 for pedals and a shift ****, $100 dollars for a headset, and $300 for a sound system.

Now... I got a raise at work, and now I'm making $9/hour instead of 7. This summer, I'm expected to work at least 30 hours a week, which means a lot of money poured into my car... and a bit into my girlfriend... but who needs one of those? lol. Now, this is where the problem comes. I have the money... even if I didnt, I have support from my dad to do whatever will make my car more of a challenge to him. I just have never worked or researched imports before. I've been into tuning Mustangs, Corvettes, etc... my brother's V6 mustang can burn most GT's on the road... but thats another story.

I've been wanted to do a whole ignitions system revamp... new battery, new high output alternator, new spark plugs, and a new starter. This is number one at my list.
Number two is the internals... fuel lines, pumps, etc
then the performance... cold air intake, exhaust, etc
then the appearance... body kit, racing seats, etc.

It's a lot of work, and i just dont have the expertise in imports due to my strict love of exotic and american sports cars. I have never picked up an import tuner mag, but have always read up on the latest aftermarket ferrari, mercedes, bmw, porsche, mustang, corvette, and viper parts. If anyone would like to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm planning to mold my 3000GT into a 300 NA RWHP beast. Anyone have any suggestions on what sites to go to, what brands to trust/choose.. anything? I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!

Plus, I'll constantly be taking pics, vids, and other stuff of my car. My girlfriend also decided that she'll model on it for me oh the joys. lol

You better be making fat jack if you want to get 300Fwhp out of your car without going with some kind of F.I.

Here are some places to start window shopping.

Dynamic Racing
3SX
IPO
GTPRO
RIPP
Pampena

Good luck with your quest to 300.
