Default 3000gt with a single turbo???

this is an add on from my recently posted question. i want to put a single turbo in my 1993 78k mile 3000gt. it has an auto tranny but i've heard that the tranny will be fine with a turbo. my friend who is a car wiz doesnt really like the idea so he wants me to get some info:
[ul][*]What is the compression ratio of a 3000gt (non VR4)[*]What is the compression ratio of a VR4[*]Are the pistons of a regular 3000gt forged or cast (he thinks cast won't work)[*]How much boost does a VR4 run stock[/ul]
hopefully all these questions can be answered. thanks

single turbo will be expensive and more complicated. the twin turbo parts will bolt on and work as long as you get all the parts...

turbos
piping
injectors ?
ecu ?
ect.

1. 10:1
2 8:1
3. N/A pistons are cast, as is the crank.
4. 7-10lbs.
