My synchros in my tranny are going. I have some friends that said they could help me get the tranny out and they know a guy that can rebuild it. Where is the best place to get transmission parts. Possibly performance transmission parts. While we are in there replacing the synchros is there other things that you would recommend we do also.

Its all depends is your car AWD or FWD?

FWD any dealer will have parts.

just to let every one know super enginering in no longer selling full kits for syncros 1-R 5speed or 6speed. and komex will not have syncros till the begining of April.. also who ever tells you to go to a dealer for trany parts is wrong because they will just tell you that the tranny is none rebuildable and you will have to by a new one (which is wrong)

Try for preformance parts like clutchs and flywheels and stuff

Actually Mentor Mitsu used to be able(and did) order AAWD trans internals from Japan. I think the parts guy that was doing this for us left and I'm not sure they do it any longer.

3SX and GT Pro will only have clutchesa nd flywheels not internals.

And at last check Autocrast was having issue with syncro availability.


But on the bright side I was talking to one of the guys from northbend the other night and he said they may have some aftermarket syncros soon.
