now now i have a 1995 3kgt sl and i wanted to get more power and we have a 2001 dodge dakota v8 4.7 and i was wondering if it is possible to do a enigne swap with the 2 and if possible how much will it cost and i dont imagine it will be cheap

Why would you want to do all that work to a non turbo FWD 3kgt?

 

yes it IS possibile but not feasable...there is a guy from stl that has a 440 cubic inch beast of a v8 under his hood...and its RWD.

 

It would be retardedly difficult and expensive... it would defenatly be at a risk to the car... if you screw up (and your likely to) the car is trash

 

well i wanted to do it for one i cant standdddd fwd cars and the 4.7 dakota engine i jsut love for some reason i bought the truck new in 01 and i would jsut love to have it in the 3kgt and i also have a 04 dodge 1500 hemi with a super charger on it and if and when i got the 4.7 liter engine in the 3kgt i would put that super charger on it

 

Theyve been bolting tube frame front ends on muscle cars for years.. It can be and has been done.

it depends i can do some of the engine work but i would muchhhhhh rather pay some one else but if u sayin the swap all in all would cost around 6 G's or 7 G's max i can do it but if it is more then that i would jsut rather buy a new car lol

 

I think the guy that did the VR440 spent around 20k...
