Default 92 as a reliable car?

My friend and i are currently going over to check out on a 92 nt stealth... auto.
Main question is, my friend is a highway *****, and he needs a car, so i would like to ask you oh gods, is that a reliable good car for him? ill check out on engine condition, mileage and a test drive if its avaible, ill also ask about the last timing belt and oil change.
Im mostly an eclipse guy so is there anything i need to know about this car? any recalls or common issues? if he does buy it, he has around 1200 to fix those issues up and make it realiable.

Thnx for all the answers guys

How many miles are on it. I heard 3000GT/Stealths perform better on highways. But if you change the timing belt, water pump, along with the other essentials you should be good. Don't dog it or be prepared to pay a pretty big bill when you fix it. I'm having some problems with my car but so far nothing big an exhaust leak, and mabey synchro. But other than that the best investment i made, girls love it. But they are pretty reliable.

yeah... i saw it and it was a complete mess actually... 180k on the clock... missing interior parts.. plus a nasty choke on idle... so im letting that one pass up really... we also checked a 2g gs, and a spyder... both with broken trannies... i dont wanna get him a car that hes gonna have to fix up when hes looking for a reliable ride.... not worth it imo

I drive a 92VR4 as my daily driver. I beat on it at times- but i'm also very prompt with my maintenance. Has been very reliable with additional repair expenses aside from normal maintenance.
