92 stealth es
I just bought a dodge stealth 92 1 months ago(wish i had a pic), and the engine and transmission is completely rebuild, new clutch, never saw snow, new 18 inch fast mags, brand new marangoni zr tires, nice paint job(all blue with 2 white stripes in middle of the car) and a pretty good sound system .... well it just goes number 1 and i paid it 6000$( it just got evaluate at 14200$).i think ive done a good deal. And now i have a few question. thers always a little tickling comming from the engine mostly when the engine's cold, the guy told me its the injection and its normal, so i just want to confirm what he said. And the oil pressur on idle speed is always very low(almost less than quarter of the gauge), but always come higher when i press gaz, once again he told me it was normal,.. just want confirmation... Another thing... Its only about 222hp and i find it a little bit slow on acceleration, mostly on 3rd speed, and i dont think it worth to put a turbo on it(too expensive), but the guy told me if i just put double exxhaust on it, it could gain up to 30hp
(curently 1 1/4 inch , would be 2 1/2 inch). Do u think its true? Would it worth it?

The tick is from the lifters, not the injectors and although it's common, it's not normal. The permanent fix is to replace the lifters with the '99 model lifters. The cheaper fix is an additive product like Xado or Seafoam.
The oil pressure gauge dropping down at idle is normal, so don't worry about it unless it stays low at higher RPMs.
You'd probably get better performance from a cold air intake than the exhaust, but either way, the gains are minimal.

Hard to say if you got a good deal without seeing and driving the car. Just from what I've seen around here, $6,000 would be about what you would pay for a TT in good condition, but if your car is low milage and in excellent condition, then it's about right.
The TT convertion is difficult and the labor cost would be high. If you're gonna do it yourself, you better have someone who knows what he's doing help you out. I only know of one that has been done before (Deftspyder) and he's never told us the cost.

you know of 2 *** hat!!! And its not THAT expensive...rather labor intensive though...and still not cheap. Run a search in this thread...we have talked about it extensively.
and the lifter tick isnt gonna hurt anything...just is noisy so fixing it isnt required at all.
