I want to either replace the infinity cass. with a infinity CD(where can I get) or how do I get the on steering wheel controls to work with a none OEM radio?

 

That is a very good question. Honestly, I don't know the answer to it, but I am wondering... why would you want a factory cd player? Why don't you just buy a way nicer looking aftermarket deck? If you go to the mitsubishi dealership they can sell you a cool little cubbyhole that can go above or below your deck if it's small enough, and you won't have to use a LOC converter and will have preouts for your subs (if you ever plan on getting them) along with the fact of a lot more controls for your sound. Obviously, the choice is yours, but I don't see why you would do something like that

 

Is there a way to tell if I have 6 1/@ in the rear or if there is 6x9's the installer at Cartoys told me that both come with the 3000gt. Is this true and how do I tell, or should I go to another place?

hey if you go after market on the stereo and get a pioneer deck or sony i think you can get a cable loom for the steering wheel controls that should wire up im going to have a go with my GTO ill let the forum know of the pin outs when ive sussed it,
