Default Back Seat ideas

I want to take out the back seat because it is useless and im not sure wether i want to put 2 12" subs and an amp or try to put a bucket seat sideways so atleast one seat in the back will have leg room. Any suggestions or if anyone has done either of these tell me how it went.

I really think big subs in a nice car is a waste of money, save it for junkers that will rattle apart anyway. But, if you wanted, I think it would be neat to seea single seat in the middle and audio equipment mounted on either side. Not very functional, but would be unique.

The Single Seat Idea sounds awesome, but if you are looking for another option, then you can do the Two-Seater convertsion with some Speakers installed to it, here is a link to that, with dimensions and instructions on how to do it, if you would like to go that route! The pictures don't show speakers, but with the design the guy has, it would be very easy to do!

Well I'd say the idea for the one seat in the middle would be cool, and the audio on either side would be good. If you want subs and amps, go for it. Just buy the proper stuff so it doesn't rattle. I hate seeing cars like that. A 3000GT can have a sub system and not become a junker.

thats a great idea but i can make a box for the trunk that will take up the entire back but sounds good and looks good to. it will also prevent the lose of the back seat that i think makes the car look cool. plus the seats are comfortable if you move the front seats up and site back there. lol

hey man actually right now i am building a amazing box in my 3000gt. i took out the rear seats and stuck the box right in the middle. but i did a lot of fiberglassing in the rear of my car. But here is what my orgianl plan was. I was just gunna take the rear seats out make a amp rack on the right side of the hump and put the box on the other bolt them down right and flush and make it to not rattle. See my thought on the rear seats was that all ther good for is hauling just becuase the biggest person i can fit back there is someone bout 5' tall. o i saw no use. I was just gunna take them out and put the system there so it wouldnt be in the back trunk of the car so then i can put all my stuff back there. But really its eprsonal preference
